The rich soils of Humera, are where the sesame seeds first sprout. Wellega Sesame In Ethiopia, there are varieties of sesame seeds abound. The Wellega type's sesame main competitive advantage is its high oil content. Wollega sesame seeds are a mixed/brownish-colored variety from the Wollega region.
